San Marzano Salsa

Course Appetizer


  • 28 oz can San Marzano whole tomatoes
  • 2 scallions
  • 1/2 red onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 jalapeno pepper (seeded)
  • 1/3 cup cilantro
  • 3/4 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 large lime (juiced)
  • 1 pinch sea salt (or more to taste)


  • Remove tomatoes from can with slotted spoon and chop in batches in Eco Chop. Only chop tomatoes and discard the sauce.  
  • Chop remaining ingredients in your Eco Chop in batches. Mix everything in your stainless mixing bowl.  Season to taste. Enjoy with your favorite chips or veggies. Salsa is also great on the Fish Tacos.
