Creamy Microwave Risotto

Course Side Dish


  • 3/4 cup Arborio rice
  • 2 1/2 cups chicken or veggie broth
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella or Italian blend cheese
  • 1-2 tbsp Roasted Garlic and Chive Herb Blend
  • 1 tsp Wild Garlic Flake Salt


  • Place rice and broth in the Large Round Mold and cover with the Octagonal Bonmat. 
  • Microwave for 8 minutes.  After 8 minutes, open Bonmat carefully and stir.  Cover with Bonmat again and cook for an additional 6-8 minutes or until most of the liquid is absorbed. 
  • Remove mold carefully from microwave (onto a plate or baking sheet for stability) and then remove Octagonal Bonmat away from your face.
  • Add in the herb blend and cheese.  Combine everything with the Heat Resistant Spatula.
  • Taste and then finish with a pinch or two of the Wild Garlic Flake Salt (Crumble in between your fingers)
