Maple Whiskey Sour


  • Juice of 1 small lemon

  • 1 egg white

  • ¾ oz pure maple syrup

  • 2 oz whiskey (best to use a good quality whiskey)

  • Bitters – just a couple drops

  • Cherry – optional but a nice finish (my favorite are Luxardo cherries)



    Fill your shaker ½ full of ice.


    Using your Citrus Press, squeeze the juice from 1 lemon into your shaker.  Add egg white, syrup, whiskey and bitters.  Cover shaker with lid and shake vigorously to mix and froth the egg white slightly. 


    Place a large ice cube (I like to make my ice cubes with our Flexipat Sphere Tray) in your glass of choice.  Pour whiskey mixture over your ice cube and top with a cherry or two. 


    Recipe can be doubled, tripled or quadrupled to meet the needs of your guests.  Make sure your shaker is big enough to hold all of those ingredients.  Enjoy!
