Peppermint Bark

Course Dessert

Ingredients

  • 2 bags white chocolate chips
  • 1 bag semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 8 candy canes  (chopped into tiny pieces in the Eco-Chop with 1 Tbsp of powdered sugar)

Instructions

  • Using a Mini Round or Small Round Flexipan Mold, melt 1 bag of white chocolate chips in the microwave. Heat chocolate for 1 minute at 50% power and stir, repeat in 30 second intervals until melted. Spread melted chocolate on your Flexiflat (sitting on your perforated baking sheet) using your Flexible Scraper to smooth out an even layer of chocolate. Place Flexiflat in the fridge or freezer to set slightly (5-10 minutes, see tip below)
  • Repeat with semi sweet chocolate and layer on top of white chocolate that is set. Repeat again with white chocolate and before placing in the fridge, sprinkle top of melted white chocolate with chopped candy canes. Press candy cane topping lightly and partially, using the back of a spoon or spatula, into the white chocolate.
  • Allow peppermint bark to set for at least 30 minutes before breaking into pieces. Enjoy!
  • *bon TIP - If you chocolate sets too long between layers, the layers may separate when breaking into pieces. To avoid this separation, allow the chocolate to just barely set before adding the next layer. This allows the chocolate to adhere to the previous chocolate layer.
